It is not meant to "drive up" the price it is meant to prevent shares from being loaned out to be shorted against us.

Loren, also, valuations are based on real #'s

Ask someone you trust what may be fair value for a company with #'s already given..

Also, have them look at comparable companies ie international Telephone companies and adjust the PE of DGIV based on that information....

We are "artificially" being held down and this too will cease once the artificial life forms relinquish hold of our shares shorted..

Just a thought on the Certificate deal. If you are retired and travel south for the winter, be sure to take them with you, if you do hold possession.

I see a plus and minus in the deal. Should a brokerage have a problem and this has been known to happen; you "know" where your certs are. I am probably a bit paranoid but I have been considering it because the Y2K thing is more than a little spooky...

Dusty :o)

DGIV is NOT OVIS/RMIL Not even close, do not try to compare DGIV, with known entities.

There is a Paradigm Shift in TeleCommunications and
DGIV, is at the Fore Front of a TeleCommunications Revolution.

Loren, It accomplishes several things. First we are not any other stock than DGIV. We know that there is a huge short position out there that has artificially made this stock a volatile one to this point. The volatility scares some serious long term investors from buying. I for one don't appreciate it when someone messes around with my investments and if I can stop it by requesting my certs. I intend to. It may not stop it but it will help to keep it to a minimum. There is no problem requesting your certificates, all it takes is 1 phone call. And as far as my broker not liking it TOUGH SH*T, this is MY investment not HIS. DGIV will continue to rise based on it's own merits, calling for your shares will not change the facts about DGIV one little bit. Calling for certificates will create a stronger shareholder base, reduce volatility, increase awareness of DGIV, attract new investors and provide a solid base to grow on as new contracts ,acquistions and partnerships, and earnings are announced. CALL FOR YOUR CERTIFICATES FIRST THING IN THE MORNING. MARK C.

I agree with you, Loren. ___ message from Loren S. on May 3 1998 1:20PM EST Calling for your shares/certs is gimmiky and unnecessary. Take a look at OVIS/RMIL if you want to see the outcome of this method of making a stock rise. DGIV has run this far on its own merits. Calling in the certs, squeezing the shorts and MMs is all artificial and does no good in the long haul. It's a hassle to arrange. Makes selling more complicated. Your broker will give you hell for it. It's not a good idea. DGIV will run on its fundamentals wherever they make take them. NASDAQ listing, more contracts, revenues. That is what will drive up the price.

Loren,

I tend to agree with you, but I don't know.. With events about to unfold as I understand them...Switching boards...whatever,,Big MMs getting involved, shouldn't this force a reconciling of the shorts...My shares are held in my cash account, should I bother????
Great teamwork, but should we make this much noise.. Stability is good for the long term, wouldn't this cause short term instability,,,
Or does Byron just know that much more that we do???

Craig

Perplexed!!

Volatility is'nt all that bad. It creates buying opportunities. If
everyone took there certificates, there would be less buying opportunities. I'm hoping the stocks dips back to $6.25...what
a steal! I don't see this kind of opportunity happening if we
are called in our shares.
