WW, 12,000 by end of 1999 is way conservative. It's only 30% rise from today. Here is a Barron's poll, it's saying we shall be where we are at year end. And also they didn't mention Coms, what a mistake ! Coca-Cola Co., Microsoft Corp., Yahoo Inc., Lucent Technologies Inc., America Online Inc., Pfizer Inc., Gillette Co., Amazon.Com Inc., General Electric Co. and Dell Computer Corp. were voted the most overvalued. The money managers said they liked Philip Morris because it trades at only about 12 times this year's estimated earnings, while they thought Coke was overvalued because it's trading at 40 times this year's estimated earnings, the paper said."
