There once was a company called Borland,
A darling on Wall Street was he
But just seven short years later,
A true test of patience, wouldn't you agree

Until now, we had Rod, Leo, and Vin
The naysayers that loved to hammer away
And as the rest of us true believers kept buying
To save for a rainy day.

As small as our little thread was
The exchanges always invited a good lurk
Now, it seems every Tom, Dick, and Harry
Is crawling from out of the woodwork

I wonder if the preponderance of new names to this thread is indicitive of the new attention Borland is drawing from the street. And if so, is it good or bad.

It has the "staying power" of a 102 year old man, but it still has my vote.

The point is now crystal clear, vote NO!

No to what? The change of name? Surely not.

Even though I consider a name-change unnecessary, and am uncomfortable with their choice, nothing can possibly be gained by voting against.

This has to be seen as part of the management package - voting against this small part of Mr. Yocam's strategy (just because you can) is like voting against his entire strategy. He has publicly included the new name as part of the whole differentiation package.

Love me, love my dog.
