Does it really make sense to short Amazon.com now??

After reading all of the Gary Korn and Glenn posts, they make a very strong case that long-term Amazon has to go down. But in the short-term, it is still very possible that it can have a substantial short-term rally and move to yet more ridiculous new heights (although the fact that it didn't surpass its old high on strong revenues isn't encouraging).

Wouldn't it be smarter to just wait until Amazon definitely is on the skids before you establish a short position (this relies on the assumption that one can get Amazon shares to short)?? Your percentage gain will be almost the same whether you jump in at 90, 70 or 50, if the stock does end up going down into the teens, which if I read your postings correctly is the price that you consider Amazon to be correctly valued.

Almost all of the gain, with little of the risk
