Xedia is demonstrating several industry firsts with its award-winning Access Point(TM) product family in Booth Number 5805. In addition, he company is providing critical bandwidth shaping and network management solutions for the InteropNet with its Access Point 100. Ashley Stephenson, Xedia chairman, will deliver expert remarks on Internet Quality of Service (QoS) at several presentation venues.
A pioneer in delivering Internet QoS using the industry's first commercial implementation of Class-Based Queuing (CBQ) technology, Xedia will demonstrate AutoClass -- the industry's first solution for automatic network policy definition. The recently announced AutoClass feature for the Access Point product family gives network managers a unique degree of automated bandwidth management that substantially reduces the need for labor intensive network policy creation.
As a result of the joint marketing agreement between Xedia and Silicon Graphics announced in March, Xedia will demonstrate traffic management for streaming IP video with Access Point and Silicon Graphics' award-winning WebFORCE(R) Mediabase software. Xedia's Access Point products provide network level bandwidth control to complement Silicon Graphics' WebFORCE(R) Origin(TM) servers and WebFORCE(R) software solutions for demanding Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Web supersites.
