It's a good day to get good news. The technical indicators (the couple that I use) indicate ORBI would most likely soften a bit. Of course, last week's mini-slide will affect the indicators, but then that slide IS an indication of the general strength of ORBI. We should all be especially pleased those secondary shares hit the market when they did, rather than during a time of "interest rate fears." Hopefully the good news will drag us forward enough to firm up the price (since we've cleared "room" up to about $49) rather than the re-testing of our new base that the TA would indicate.

It's going to take a pretty decent thrust to clear $50 for good. The sooner we can test this resistance, the sooner we can burn through it!

Every time I check the ORBI Research board on Yahoo, I seem to get a different estimate for Orbi's earnings going forward. Earnings for this year have remained rather constant at 97 cents. But next year keeps changing. Not long ago I think it was l.97, then it jumped to 2.10, then back to around 1.87. Now I see 1.79. Quite a drop. What gives? Is it because the timetable for earnings for ORBCOMM and ORBIMAGE are getting pushed back?
