Umm, I have a discipline that demands that I short any stock that opens up 7x over the previous close (buyouts being the exception). My assumption was that the mm's had none or next to none in inventory, and that there was no one selling pre-open, therefore the mm's were forced to short. It almost always pays to be on the same side as the mm's. It's market mechanics, nothing to do with the underlying company.

Wait and see missed the short of the year (so far).
