Junaidi...It would seem to me that artisinal miners who recover gold from properties such as the Ojolali are the only ones not hurt by this steep inflationary increase in the cost of living. Does this practice occur on a widespread basis in your nation? I've heard that the persons who engage in this practice are readily identified by the new Harley Davidsons they ride.

Regards,

Don

P.S. I wonder if there is a message in this for all of us who exchange our hard work, talents, and efforts for fiat money?

Thanks Junaidi...I understand electricity will also be going up, but at least that will be done in 3 stages.

Here's hoping things get better in your country asap.

Regards,
Wayne

Is this the first increase since devaluation of the rupiah? How much of Indonesia's oil is produced locally?
