My sources are also declining to comment on any possible UTEK and ISI merger. However, a fairly cryptic fax went out in UTEK's name today: ----- Semiconductor Industry Leaders to Announce New US Lithography Company and Other Important Developments at Upcoming Press Conference Wednesday, May 6 5 PM Willard Intercontinental Washington 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20004-1010 Semiconductor industry leaders will hold a press event to announce a new US advanced lithography company and other developments that will impact the future of the semiconductor industry--in particular as it pertains to vital US photolithography technology. ----- My guess is that the briefing is likely to be on one of a very short list of topics: --UTEK buys ISI --UTEK gets money to develop EUV --both Any other guesses?
