Dusty, I'm not an expert on Edgar, but that is my understanding, perhaps someone else who is more knowledgable could clarify. I would imagine that the SEC would process the filing first, perhaps even contacting the auditing firm for verification or something, and then after the paper version is finalized it is sent over to Edgar for processing.

I saw a BUY of 150,000 shares at .47, just after the close. I'll bet the MM's held that trade intentionally until after the close, so they could shake out some cheaper shares to fill the large order by dropping the bid down right towards the end of the day.
