I fully agree. However, I did have a thought a bit back during the "increasing shareholder value" discussion, that I never voiced, and it it this:

Without authorizing more shares, MRVC has enough authorized shares to do a three for two split (just barely). My experience with splits is that the market seems to have a short term memory of the split and a longer term memory of MRVC's "proper" price range. Also, splits are generally preceived positively.

If MRVC can get the price to about $36, a 3-2 split takes the stock to $24. If we then can rise to even upper-$20s, shareholder's value would be increased nicely (and reasonably for now).

Then, next year, after Xyplex is fully integrated and Edgeblaster has "blasted" off, do another 2-1 split.

Of course the fly in the ointment of this plan is the "get the price to about $36" part. This is where I would really like to see MRVC in tomorrow's INTC announcement. I'm sure it's not us as the word "big" was used (that ain't us - yet), and we went down today. CSCO, ASND, COMS, NN went up today, so I predict (very reluctantly) that it will be one of them.

I would like to know what others think about this 3-2 split idea - particularly Seth and Greg.
