Today's volumes looked great and it has been a full upward day! After one whole selling week, we may see a buying week coming. As a leading MM in this stock, GSCO's returning to the bidding side will determine the short term direction. Other MMs won't position themselves against the trend. I don't think Prudential is the only firm to target this stock over $50. Who said the revenues may be flat next quarter? Give me a break! Besides adding the revenues from the newly acquired company, the improvement of billing cycle will bring us another good quarter. The first quarter used to be the worst quarter in a year. The company could manage it to deliver the record earnings. Don't you think the management team of CheckPoint is great? I am very proud of them on that. Nobody worries the third quarter because it used to be a good one in a year. The competition worry was the worst reason to be used although it has been used twice. Someone thought CSCO will be a real player in the firewall sector instead of MSFT, because everyone already figured out MSFT wouldn't be at the position any time soon. It is true that CSCO indeed the best one if you compare them with others, such as BAY and ASND. However, users will avoid their firewall products because its poor compatibility with those products from other networking companies, especially those telecoms. The idea from CSCO to embed the firewall into the network products sounds even stupid. They even don't know the firewall need to be upgraded quite often. I question the ability of the manager who is in charge the firewall products in CSCO. The more the competitors emerge, the hot the sector will become and the leading player will play even better!!! Anyway, CHKPF is a trading buy and it will make your investments worth more. Good luck!
