I like Byrons honor among thieves theory. If we are about to have new market makers it is not inconceivable that the shorters might have gotten a gentle suggestion to cover up. Just a thought. MARK C.

i used to be into options from a speculative standpoint, and not use them as a hedging tool. stradles are nice, but i always went for the gusto and bought call options with a few month time frame- one that included the next earnings release.

after suffering losses on global marine and novell, i made a few bucks on IBM and scored a major hit on IDTC. options are exciting as you can earn 1200% returns quickly and lose no more than the premium you pay. i used my big score to purchase a significant number of DGIV shares...and here i am.

i have to say that options are a bad gamble on any ordinary stock, but i have witnessed people making huge money on stocks that get hit too hard by poor earnings or under-valued stocks that receive a little attention. good example, were AT&T doubling in 3 months from $30 to $60. my friend has calls at $1.25 that rose to $19 each. Another good example is CPQ...hit too hard and now up 25% this past month.

i wonder when we will have DGIV options....actually, although i am far ahead on them...they still scare me and are not for the faint-hearted.
