Hello Spots,

I deliberately waited to reply to the most recent posts because we managed to free up 200MB on the hard disk(going to work on deleting more stuff, however, those warnings do not give one a good feeling. Start to worry about deleting major items--we're being extra careful tho'. Our motto is when in doubt leave it there. Whoever titles those files certainly doesn't have the average computer owner in mind. Why can't they just include a list of the files of each program in the users manual for each game. Would make it so much easier to identify the right files.

Anyway, when I gave Kristi another whirl on the ice after the deletions, the performance was the same. Except I know when the first screen appears for the game there is definitly power in the mouse but soon as I click and it moves to the next screen--power is completely gone.

I made an error in the purchase date of the machine--it was Dec. '95(checked my lst post at SI for verification). Don't know if that changes your "72 pin" remarks or not.

We will definitely make it an additional 24 MB RAM as you suggest.

This thread is the winner of the SI "Nice Forum" award. Think I'll suggest to Brad that he send new recruits here for training before setting them loose in the other SI caverns. Greed can make some people rude;-)

take care, Ann
