I doubt that an injunction against Microsoft which delays it from introducing Windows 98 will have too much impact on MEMC. Most of what I have read regards Windows 98 as an upgrade of Windows 95, without the fanfare as when Windows 95 replaced Windows 3.1. Most people are not holding off buying a computer until the new version comes out. What further insulates MEMC is that between them and Microsoft is first the computer maker, then the chipmaker.

Very unlikely that an injunction would be granted. Check out the Intergraph web site for the judges order in Intergraph vs Intel for the complete law on such injunctions and the law on the Sherman Act and I think you will agree that the risk is minimal. Intel on the other hand may have some problems.
