This thread has turned to crap.

Thanks to Jay, Frank, Roger for keeping the sanity.

I'm sorry I haven't provided anything useful, but work's been a bitch and investing is only a hobby. Thank the Lord for that, as times like we have had recently can only drive you insane, IF YOU LET IT.

Stay the course guys. Maybe the short term traders and shorties and buttholes that have pervaded this thread lately will leave for more slimy pastures.

Thanks Charlie, you are right, I missed a line. So, they think the price in May 1999 should be only around $45. When the company made $0.28/sh half a year ago, the stock priced around this price and went further over $50. Now the company has made $0.41/sh, almost 150% higher. Does anyone think that's a reasonable target? Based on the average estimates $1.78 for 1999, $45 will make the stock at a PE=25. Even with the lowest estimates $1.48, the PE will be only 30. The highest estimates were $2.15 (PE=20). In software sector, PE 25 for a fast growth company in a hot area should be a great great bargain! I would say the bottom line for this stock in 12 months is at least $45 :-) BTW, there are only three left on recommending a hold rating for CHKPF in total sixteen analysts who currently cover CHKPF (others are three strong buy rating and nine buy rating).
