Z Analyzer, your analysis appears to be satisfactory although you make the major mistake that most analyst do and that is that you are assuming that products now on the market, drugs soon to be approved and the strong pipeline are not going to dramatically improve the earnings picture. Viagra will allow PFE to funnel greater amounts of $ to R&D which will again increase the future prospects for PFE.

However, all that being said I think in the short term PFE stock price will live or die by the next few months Viagra Rx data and upcoming earnings. I have received my analyst report and they appear quite optimistic regarding PFE's future prospects but I believe a critical factor why brokerage firms are reluctant to upgrade PFE is the lack of guidance by PFE CEO on the future propects of Viagra. Maybe the CEO will make some positive comments at the next earnings release.

Good luck.

There are other ways to value a stock, and I have found that the approach you are taking isn't a good predictor of stock price. (Obviously it wouldn't have predicted PFE's current price.) In addition, I read yesterday that when Pfizer gets the new patent for the faster-acting Viagra, it will extend their current patent for another 20 years.
