What does everyone think about a drug with a less than 4% refill rate????? That Viagra in current IMS data. Maybe too early for the 15 pill poppers but those who only got 6?

Just posted my response to this data on the VVUS thread.

Viagra had 207,868 new scrips AND 215,376 total ending 4/24. So that means only 7,508 were refills. That seems really small to me, can I get any comments on what you people think of that? Anyone...why so little refills????

Let's do a little math. The number of scripts in week one was 36,000 and in week two was 113,000. The average # of pills in a script is 11. Men with impotence tend to be old and very few would have sex more than twice per week (2 pills per week). Let's be optimistic and say that 25% of men would even consider getting a refill after two weeks. So 25% of 36,000, or 9,000 of people buying the pills during week one would consider getting a refill during the third week (if they had a good experience with it). The actual number getting a refill was 7,500, or 83% of 9,000. Not bad.
