Ya Sebl is doing a great job picking up the big SFA deals. MOT is an excellent reference customer too. I suspect that Andersen Consulting had a hand to play in it as AC is very strong in Chicago and tied into MOT pretty well from what I hear. As for Sebl's sales force I really don't think they're any better than Vantive's. VNTV's guys/gals fight it out on a daily basis harder than Sebl's, IMO. But, Tom Siebel does do an excellent job at executive selling. What VNTV needs to do is to involve the customer support organization any time it's a straight SFA deal. They need to broaden the deal into areas that will be strengths for them and weaknesses for Sebl. Not always easy when AC is in there as an "objective" consultant yet owns 5%+ of SEBL stock.
