I would settle for just laying back and waiting for the results to come in - I would as soon see the analysts stay out of it and not jerk the stock around. I don't want to see some macho analyst try to prove that he knows the business better than Craig Barrett and issue his own forecasts.

I think we all owe Craig Barrett that much. Give him a chance to see if he can do what he says he can do. That should be a minimum 12 to 18 months. Even basketball coaches get more time than that to see if they are winners.

Hypothetical--does anyone see (or think) Intel splitting the stock at this price at the next meeting? Just curious.
