Excellent link to the Korean Economic Weekly. I bookmarked it. Thanks.

But I think more important than "facts" is "perception." Even though you very well may be correct (upgrades being premature), it isn't what drives stock prices. Analysts "jumping on the bandwagon" is a lot more important than what actually may happen. "Perception" is the key. Of course if you have a 5 or 10 year time horizon, then facts do matter. But as a former "long term" investor in the semi-equipment sector for the past 3 plus years, I'm paying a lot more attention to perception! I don't want to keep seeing my investments double, get sliced in half, double, get sliced in half, again and again. This gets tiring after awhile.

Joe - I think any upgrades are way, way, premature Of what? If Korea, I agree. If the semi-equipment area, I disagree, unless Japan follows Korea down the tubes.
