I'll go out on a limb and say that I don't believe that there is any documented case of an individual deliberately inducing cancer in his or her self as a result of "exposure to a nuclear explosion." Richard Feynmann is a physicist. He should understand very well that cancer is a stochastic outcome from radiation exposure, not a determinstic one. What this means is that no one can know if cancer will result, no matter how high is the dose. And, if cancer does later develop after a radiation exposure, there is simply no way (given our current ignorance about cancer) to definitively prove that it was caused by the radiation. David
