David, my information on Richard Feynman comes from a book about his life that I checked out from the public library. It was a reputable and serious book--not a tabloid or anything sensational. I will have to look in the card catalog and see which one it might have been the next time I am there.

My own understanding is that there is a predictable date for cancer onset a certain number of years after exposure, if it is indeed caused by nuclear exposure. I know that when I was a child I had a lot of x-rays of my hip because I had to have two surgeries on it, and the doctors were able to tell me at that time when later in life cancer was likely to develop in that area due to radiation, within a ten year period.

Is that wrong?
