Thanks, Scott. It's even worse than I remembered it.

Thirty-three million shares over $28, 87 million over $25...

The figures are mind boggling...

I'd say it's going to take millions of shares per $0.25 uptick per share, just like today, up and until shorts chicken out and cover..

Scott doesn't the NASDQ count buy/sell as two shares ?

The figures may not be so bad. AAPL "ran out" a lot of buyers (widows/orphans) from T-Giving to year-end by holding all good news and assaulting the SEC-EDGARDS with dismal reports during tax selling season .

My guess is the Jan/Feb buyers are long haul "insider" types whereas the August buyers were hopeful of a MSFT take-over and have moved on .

The Bondholders are a concern , as they are close to conversion , but they get 6% each quarter END and if Jobs hits a homer 5/6 and the WEEK of 5/11 they will go back to clipping coupons .

Incidently please look for a used copy of GA's book , no need to add further to his royalties :>)

Jim K.
