News from Vivus: For those of you wondering why the same 7 law firms have placed almost 60 internet notices about suing Vivus. "There will be one lawsuit by one law firm. Whichever law firm gets the most sharholders to participate is named the law firm of record." Quoted from e-mail received from Nina. Also, "Vivus has no plan to sue Asencio at this time." I say now is as good of a time as any to sue the @#$%@. Asencio's false and misleading press release on December 9, 1997 was false, misleading and hurt all vivus shareholders. I think Vivus would have a good case. Not only did Asencio say that MUSE didn't work (based on that obscure Italian study where a 2 pound weight was hung off the end of the penis) but he also accused Vivus management of improper accounting practices. I do some daytrading, some short-term, and no, I didn't sell today....at least not VVUS. I've always sort of liked this company, but was unsure how I felt about it's product. I was invested in HVSF for some time until I saw it was going nowhere. I think people will like VVUS's product a lot better than Viagra. Whereas a pill can affect the entire body, this is more localized. I have to admit, tho, I liked HVSF's delivery system better than VVUS's. Anyway, I'm aboard now for the long haul (however long that may be) and hope to add to my position from time to time.
