VLAD,

I bought a few shares in vivus (and in pfizer) a few days ago. The first shares I ever bought in anything - and I found techstocks surfing, that is why I am here. I don't even know what covering shorts means. What is a 'short' anyway?

Seeing those lawsuit notices did worry me at first. But it seems it won't bankrupt vivus???

DaiS

PS I am allowed on the vivus thread if I have some pfizer shares as well?

Again no reply from this clicky thread....I suggest if your long or short you refer to my post #7715,7626,7538 & 7337. I feel that I have giving this thread a very good perceptive of what lies ahead for vvus. PFE now has two marketing holes, it takes to long to work and it has side effects.....have I been talking to deaf ears?

Vlad, I contacted several of the law firms when the suit s**t started
and they all responded within 24 hrs. Quite a pitch. One sent me a two pound overnight package; multiply that by hundreds of qualifying stockholders and it's easy to see these guys are serious.

Time is on the side of VVUS, IMHO, and by the time a suit were to surface, VVUS may have vindicated itself with most stockholders, past and present. I can see problems naturally occuring with a new product, and a new management team. The launch of Muse didn't come with an instruction book. I don't think these guys were up to anything illegal.

Long VVUS,

Frostman

VLAD,

If Vivus rises above $15, I plan on reestablishing my short position. Asensio may have have misrepresented the results from the Italian study but he's correct about Vivus' management. Buyer beware.
