My broker is one of my best friends. He would not intentionally steer me wrong, but he has given me advice which did not pan out in the schedule he anticipated, however, it usually does in the long term. I believe I misrepresented myself when I said they were going to issue a strong buy recommendation. What he said was that his company's analysts were strongly recommending a buy to their brokers. He did not suggest that I buy the June 20 calls, he just gave me the information and I immediately asked if their were options, as I rarely can afford to purchase any large blocks at that price. So, for whatever that is worth, his recommendation, my idea for the calls. I checked out the Yahoo thread also. They mentioned something today about a $28 buyout, which is the exact figure his analyst gave him. Coincidence...most likely, but stranger things have happened.
