Peter this is the reasoning I was asking Ed Frye for in the last week. You make a compelling business case for letting this puppy run. You NAILED it.

Thank you.

Peter, your post was worth alot more than 2 cents. I agree that the Intel deal is huge. I've always thought that the ATM technical buy decision was independent on whatever else you might have in your closet, but that never prevented the "relationship" or "single point of service" mindset that the LU and the CSCOs of the world could stll leverage when bidding on new deals. The relationship with Intel is clearly a business-centric decision more than it is a technical one. Intel wields unbelievable market clout, especially in the commercial business world. Rarely is an RFP prepared just to buy boxes to place in a closet, they usually request a business solution of which ATM is just a piece. To be associated with and to team up on solutions with Intel is incredible, especially because their customer list represents a whole new ball game for FORE's salespeople. Solutions with Intel will be from the desktop out as opposed to FORE's traditional campus view.
