This disturbs me. An article yesterday on Bloomberg News stated that it seemed like the tobacco company lawyers "gave up" in the Minnesota trial. That when documents were shown on overhead screens that there were "moans" of discontent and discomfort from the tobacco lawyers. The article goes on about how the attorneys appear to have been whining to the judge and not trying to defend their clients to the best of their abilities. This is not right, especially when it seems like the industry is gaining support from the judicial system. If you're gonna fight, find lawyers that are willing to fight! The recent dismissals and victories in tobacco's favor illustrate that the public is still supportive of the industry's defense, and that some judges are saying "enough is enough" with all these cases being filed.

I'll find the article and post it...
