Interesting note about LGND options... I bought 10 Aug $15 and 10 Nov $15calls Mon 5/4/98 when the stock was trading at 14 3/16-14 1/4. I paid 1 5/16 for the Aug and 1 7/8 for the Novembers. The stock is down 3/8's today but the August calls are up to 1 5/16 bid to 1 9/16 asked..up 1/4 and the Novembers are 1 11/16 bid to 1 15/16 asked, up 1/16. Doesn't it seem odd that the options and stock would move in opposite directions to this degree at the same time??? Comments

speaking of yahoo: "I too am a worry wart! With all the positives from the annual report and the recent run up in some of the other bio tech stock one does begin to wonder and worry what the hell is wrong with this stock.... True it is going down on small volume...I do not see this as a positive but as insiders or market makers who are manipulating the stock. Why is there so much selling pressure on this co? It does amaze me that with the potentially 4 new NDA pending this stock ought to be 22-25 range! gg comments welcome..."
