TO ALL

Over the past 2 hours I've had some interesting conversations with 2 utility companies concerning their tests of Greenland's AMR.

Emerald Peoples Utility District in OR has had several trials. The first was in one direction only (from the meter to the company) which the company said worked OK but then EPUD decided they wanted Bi-directional communication. As of now the company reports Greenland has not been able to get the Bi-directional communication to work well and another test is scheduled for sometime around June.

The Third Taxing District of Norwalk (strange name for a utility Co.) has been actively dealing with Greenland for about 10 months. During this time there have been several tests with the only problem being the reception range from the meter. Thus far the effective range from the meter is only about 1,000 feet due to signal interference. The utility would be happy with a range of only 1/2 mile. There is another test scheduled in about 2 weeks.

What is important for me is both utilities expressed positive feelings for Greenland's concept as well as the company itself.
