Toy,

An update on NT5 release from the evil empire. <gggg>
I'm curious regarding your comments on what this says/means,
and is this a bit of "spin" too?

Toy,

Keith didn't like the links I provided on Netware versus NT. Here's his reply <ggg>. QuadK

What a bunch of drivel. How can you believe someone so hopelessly uninformed that they would state
"Microsoft has no plans to add memory protection to its kernel." Just one of many inaccuracies but indicative of
the quality of information.

As for Gartner, I think their reputation for accurate cost analysis speaks for itself. Not that they can't get it right,
they just play both sides of the fence by selling whatever you want to hear.

BTW, Save the jihad for something spiritual

Keith

Just a little tidbit about Directory efficiency. Lets take a 30 MB NDS Database. Put the same amount of objects in an Active Directory Database ...300MB. yes folks up to 10 X the size. Please ADSL, come hither before I convert to Active and have to put in a second T1 for sychronization.
