Everyone, the iMac looks to be BTO-you can get a 56K modem if you want. don't fret! :)

Dear Jon,

I don't know why you keep complaining about geoport modem. I bought one last year and they work fine for me. I get 31.2K connection same as hardware modem from my house and I have never seen any crashes beacause of that. May be you just got a bad one or something is wrong with your machine or MAY BE YOU HAVE SHORT APPLE STOCK. Which one is true here ?
