jim,

Compaq has a lot to swallow at the moment. Incorporating Digital and restructuring their distribution model. Once Compaq executes ODM, whether its June, July, or whenever, you will see them gaining market share just like HWP is now. HWP's gains are coming on reduced inventory levels. Dell is eating CPQ's lunch now, but I believe it will not come as easy later in the year when the other box makers are becoming more efficient.

They still won't be as efficient as DELL, but they will make it alot tougher for DELL to realize 70-80% Y/Y gains.

JMHO

Regards,
Caisson

BTW, long both CPQ & DELL.
