I agree with you about the employment numbers. If you remember, both Jan and Feb had very strong numbers but the wage component was well behaved. After an initial selloff, the bond market rallied after each number. Based on the recent ECI and numbers from the NAPM and personal income and spending, I suspect that the wage number will again be non disruptive. I expect the new jobs to be strong, >300K and, the rate to come in unchanged at 4.7%. Like the factory orders number yesterday, it will show that the economy is still strong and inflation is still very low.

The fact that Asia is still weak and the Fed is reducing supply also supports a move back toward the lower end of the interest rate range, 5.75%.
