many investors equate increased PC sales w/ the coming of Win '98 (you know: the "I'm waiting to buy a PC until Win '98 comes out" type rational by purchasers. If Win '98 is pushed back indefinately, the PC co's will sell off. DELL should sell off worse obviously due to its lofty levels (60x earnings...LOL!!! I can't even believe I'm typing this)

Whether there is any real impact is beside the point, it is just an excuse to sell for investors w/ huge profits (which mkaes up most of DELL due to the low turnover (vol) of shares over the last 2 months since it has jumped 33%.
