zbyslaw, Ref your statement -- When NN started to realized its vision in form of produts ASND did not has even clue about ATM.
When did NN start to realize their ATM vision ??

I do know that in 1996, the CBX 500 ATM switch accounted
for 11% of Cascade Communications yearly revenue, and 20% of their 4th quarter revenue. (Seems that my #1 son wrote software for this switch.) (And, of course, Cascade is now part of Ascend)
I really was not familiar with NN at that time --- What ATM
products were they producing at that time ??

By the way, I hold ASND, NU, FORE. (No Cisco at this time)
so I am not particularly biased toward any of them.
I'm happy to say, that Cascade (now Ascend) beat Stratacom to the
market with ATM products, on a regular basis.
Looks like they still are doing so.
Looking forward to NN's revival !
Regards,
Mardy.
