Please take no offense.

When you are trying to select and copy, is the cursor (the blinking vertical line, not just the I-beam) active and in the reply area of the screen?

If it isn't then you cannot select anything within that area.

Sorry if I came across that way, Jerard. What browser are you using that won't let you copy/paste? Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious, but are you trying to copy from the editing window, (versus the surrounding page)?
