FYI

To the elders of this thread:

Have you noticed that the company Futurenet, Symbol FNET is shown at the end of each post in this thread, with the daily quotes, volume etc.?

Perhaps it would be appropriate to those interested, to point this out to the Webmistress, as it would confuse the new and/or unfamiliar posters/lurkers that are watching Fnet the Internet Telephony related subsidiary of FTEL, which this thread refers to.

Indeed as a possible future IPO, I doubt that a current "Quote" be relevant and/or accurate at all. Yet confusing.

However, if this has been brought up to their attention before and nothing can be done, well then... never mind the above.

Z.

Andy and All -

Tom Russell gave me a call back. We talked for several minutes. I'm still at work so I'll post the results of our conversation tonight.

Cheers,

George

Andy B., I'll take a stab at some of this:

1. Good Question, but last time it was sat on until the Magazine was released, and indeed it may be part of the Expo policy or something. The most recent "Best of Show" issue was just released at the end of last week, so maybe we will see something this week.
2. May Ct show is 19-21, in Baltimore.
4. In Live Chat the other night someone said that there is between 30-50 units currently out for evaluation.
5&6 She won't answer according to a couple of people, instead reffering them to McGruder, who I imagine is not talking either, at this point. There are contracts in place for the actual installation of some or all of the POPs, but there is no word on the timeframe. I'm sure there won't be until a press release is made regarding that topic, since it is definitely news worthy.
7. I highly doubt that there is anything binding, along those lines.
8. I would imagine Dead in the water. It seems, though this is unconfirmed, that Intrine could not get the funds together and could not fill the financial obligations they made. Unfortunate for FTEL, but not nearly the big deal folks keep making. FTEL rightfully publicized the Intrine sale, at that time no vendor of gateways had a single sale booked for seven figures, so for FTEL to get one that quickly was a coup. The fact that Intrine could not get their act together really is a shame, it would have been some great rev.'s.
10. She'll probably just say, yes we have a plan, but you'll have to see it when everyone else does.<GGGGGGGGGG>

Hope that helps.
