JimB: RE<take a look at UTEK, Jerry is looking more right than wrong these days.> When UTEK was $34.50 last fall, Jerry was wrong. When UTEK touched $18 a few months ago, Jerry was right. When UTEK was $25 a few weeks ago Jerry was neither right nor wrong. So Jim, What does all this prove ? If you bought UTEK as an investor and believe in their long-term story, then who gives a tinker's damn about Jerry and his clones ? As JP Morgan said, "stocks tend to fluctuate". Everyone knows UTEK's earnings will likely remain poor for the rest of the year. Most everyone knows there will likely be earnings improvement for 1999 and forward. Everyone knows this company has two exciting new products and invests in R&D for exciting new products for the long term. If you bought UTEK as an in and out trader, then I really don't think Brinker intended his UTEK recommendation for trading because he can't give day to day advice to such people. So traders like Jerry are on their own. Hopefully they recently sold when UTEK was in the $25-$26 range. For impatient traders who bought at higher levels, perhaps there's a tax loss opportunity available if they can't wait til 1999 and later. Jerry was rude and only interested in showing Brinker up as wrong, not discussing the issue of whether or not UTEK is a good investment. Brinker did not deserve that kind of treatment. He's made a lot of people a lot of money over the years. He's inspired many people to give to charity. He's saved many people form the sharks. P
