John, from what I know about gas production (not much) I understand that most of the gas is vented off in the fields because most of the wells don't have pipelines to carry the gas to market. How portable is this technology that it might be placed closer to the wells? Also how useful will the process be with hydrates at sea?

You infer that the cobalt systems are totally unproven and unreliable. It is important to note that they did production for three years prior to the explosion.

John, Howard and others - thanks for your responses re comparisons.

Are there any technological developments to protect cobalt cats from being poisoned? I've heard of centrifuges being developed to spin off unwanted gases. Is this part of the GTL process or something that can be employed before the gases go into the GTL process.
