Tried to short VVUS this morning, was getting tired of not making any money on the long side and they said no shares available to short, Seems all the shares have dried up the last 2 weeks or so, would go with the signs of major accumulations going on and the wordens report. I think the last few weeks a lot of extra shorting have been going on when ever the price has jumped. Now I know why it looked strage when the stock went from 9 to 12 the other day, I didnt see much shorting at all, I thought the MM's got caught with their pants down cause of the way the trades were taking place. Any good news and I would expect this one to take out 15 very easily. Guess all that churning with 17 mil shares the other week was not a joke. I cant wait to see the current short intrest, I would think its at 15 to 18M+ now from the 10M of last month, thats 5M in the 12 to 13 area and prob another 2-3 mil in the 9 to 12 area.
I woudnt expect a squeeze without any news though.. But the next month or two should be real intresting and very rewarding for those who are patient, unless Leland is another CC and makes lousy heads. Although I can dream of ENMD :) I dont think that will happen.

So is a gamble for the SEP 15's worth it? Might be one of them 5 baggers..

Frostman,

2205 on the pfizer thread says pfizer close to obtaining regulatory approval for OVER THE COUNTER sales of viagra here in the UK. How do you think this might impact on muse. Men buying viagra without visiting their doctor may lose out possibility of being exposed to muse unless vivus is more aggressive.

There was another hour long TV programme here today. Men with dfferent forms of impotence were interviewed, as were men with experience of viagra, muse, caverject, pumps, implants. Muse was portrayed as being effective. Viagra also portrayed as effective on some men but causing blinding headaches.

I saw an abstract by vivus scientific team (and others) on experiments with two drugs in the pellet rather than aprostadil alone. There seemed to be an enhanced effect at lower drug doses.
