The iMAC seems darn expensive for a Network Computer, don't you think?
What kind of storage/back-up will this box offer? How much is Jobs betting on the radical design of the box ($50MM in ads during a 6 mos.
period). Is there no provision for internal upgrade? Looks like the design of the box itself might severely limit what can be fit inside.
And, BTW how do you go about getting the cover off the %##!&* thing anyway? This box might as well have a big sign on it that screams at the rest of the industry.....HANDS OFF.....IF IT AIN'T INVENTED HERE .....you know the rest of the story. One has to wonder if this "internet" machine will be able to take advantage of the ADSL connections that are promised to be widely available by the end of the year.

I suspect you are right in speculating that there will be changes before this machine hits the shelves.....quite a few, IMO. I doubt if the price is going to fly.....today's basic (full-featured) 1K box is
headed towards becoming a $500 box

One thing I am sure of.....IOM will build a ZIP that connects.
