Having said that, I'll now try your Ctrl C suggestion. First select. OK,
fine; selection is outlined in blue. Now Ctrl C to copy; nope, not a damn
thing. :-\ No juice on the Crtl C. :-(


Forgive me if I'm missing the obvious, but I assume you are not expecting anything to happen when you hit ctrl-c, and that when you say nothing happens it's after you try to paste into another window.

You might also want to try ctrl-INS (control - insert), that is usually the other copy key combo.
