If I don't fall asleep tomorrow night, I promise to take down notes and post the summary on this thread. // CA By the way, in 1994, Ron Brown (then Commerce Sec) approved the sale of machine-tools and technology from McDonnell-Douglas and other defense companies to China over the objections of the Pentagon. Pentagon wanted them destroyed as there was no civilian use for the stuff. Besides China proper, did some of this technology and know-how go to Pakistan and Iran? Iran has lately develop medium-range missiles (800 miles ?) that can interdict access to the Persian/ Arabic Gulf. US Navy can pay a price in those waters. All these small news items have been reported in the press over time. This is much more serious than the harem stories or the Whitewater ripoff.
