Don't anyone misunderstand me. I am not knocking SEAC. Obviously
they are a player or they would not have been in SFA booth. Maybe
they did just have bad luck with their presentation and set up.
The main point is that now CCUR is a player. Monday was a real
wake up call for CCUR's competitors and I am sure they were in a
state of shock for CCUR to be in the SFA booth. One large computer company was loudly touting IVOD and Chris and I stopped at their booth. Turned out they were just considering developing a system. The sales guy said "we have a new process that is greatly going to reduce the costs. We are just targeting the 30 largest systems and our cost will be way below Seachange. We think we can get the cost down to $300 per stream". I said, "CCUR is well below that now". He looked like I had shot him, obviously he had never heard of Concurrent and he stuttered and stammered and said "well, we may reconsider developing a system if things are not just right".
