HEM3 - I agree the mind games are tiring, but it is part of the trading beast. When you have a good horse that can run, you take care of him and feed him well, BUT you also have to remember that he can kick and bite. Nothing is "clear" sailing, imho.

<<Lets face it, no one just decides to pay to join SI when they first
start out trading / investing, I waited for five years and this is only my second post.>>

HEM3 -

I agree with your assessment of Dr. V but please be careful to keep those assessments based on the ignorance of the post (as you did) and not on the length of time one has been investing.

I am a new investor (for real) and joined SI when I first started trading. While maintaining strictly "peruser" status for a couple months I joined SI recently thinking that lifetime memberships might soon become a thing of the past. I rarely post simply because I don't often have anything of significance to add to the discussion - but I'm always around reading. Like you I wish that deceit and mindgames weren't as prevalent but those folks and their tactics usually seem pretty easy to spot.

I'm in PLFM for the long haul .. truly believe in the technology and it's applications and intend to pick up some more shares during this slump (averaging down the shares I already own). I work in a technology driven field and am well aware of its potential to quickly change the way we live and do business.

Nice to "meet" all of you - I really enjoy this thread and the level of integrity and sharing it offers (for the most part). Hope to be able to contribute something worthwhile in time .. but when you see me please know that I'm for real even though I'm a newcomer. No tricks up these sleeves!

Good Luck everyone!
