Hi Soup , THINK the WWDC will be a calvalcade of announcements

After AAPL's 11/10/97 run up before and run down after on the Oracle purchase BS , AAPL's PR dept stated their disapproval of the "rumors" and the effect it had on the stock .

S Jobs went further and threatened termination of employees who leaked info to the news . Since Jan. 98 , I can't any recall wild swings around announcements .

5/15/98 is to be MSFT's drop dead date to forestall a new DOJ action . Seems the DOJ has added evidence which MSFT is stonewalling .

Coming in the midst of AAPL's WWDC and the promised preview of AAPL's OSs (Rhapsody) , a DOJ filing AND a favorable AAPL WWDC will bring interest in AAPL .

MSFT will probably fold at the last minute , but either way AAPL stands to benefit from the added news spotlight on the OS drama .

AAPL's (Amelio/Hancock) recovery plan forecasted a shift to software and S Jobs has promised to unveil "his vision" of it at the WWDC .

Regards,
Jim K.

PS: has anybody commented yet on the iMAC's handle ? :>)
