Phil are you suggesting MSFT admit to doing something amiss ?

MSFT literally stole DOS to sell to IBM and has been operating that way ever since .

IBM just reciprocated by throwing another log on the MSFT - DOJ fire by providing Win/98 upgrades at no charge , illustrating the upgrade in not essential .

Latest news (a leak to assist compromise ?) poses that a simple removal of certain MSFT product icons on Windows start-up would be grounds for a settlement :

nytsyn.com

As long as MSFT resists it should provide GREAT news coverage for AAPL during the WWDC . You pose there is a graceful and timely (WWDC) out for MSFT through its investment in AAPL .

Suspect AAPL's lawyers have been studying the 8/97 MacOS - MSFT investment agreement to be sure no other OS can be inferred . Surely this was discussed over the weekend with visiting 1st lawyers Hillary and Bill .

Larry Ellison's comments yesterday seemed to indicate that the "partnership" is limited to the common development of the "Office" product .

Wonder what a Rhapsody logo would look like on Win/98 start-up screen ?
