Jock,

I'm a real skeptic when it comes to big business and honesty. So I would like to hear from you the names of a few companies with $2 billion dollars in annual sales that are 100% forthright and open about every aspect of their businesses (and never make mistakes).

Please don't use your example of the next quarter's sales and '98 GM as a diversion, as this seems to be the your theme for April and May.

Jock.....you err. The post to which I responded did not address the subject of IOM management honesty.

You have stated that s. bateh's "trust me" approach doesn't hack it.
I ask; hack what? Have you established some standard that governs what Bateh, or anyone else, may post here. Bateh tosses out bits or raw data at irregular intervals.....make what you will of it. You have also called Bateh dishonest for implying that IOM products are selling like hotcakes.....perhaps you would like to share with us the evidence you have that IOM products are NOT selling like hotcakes (and don't forget to define "hotcakes" while you're at it).

IOM management's reluctance to predict future sales and margins may be indicative of many things, but I do not view it as dishonest. When you don't know the answer, the only honest answer is; "I don't know."
I believe even the bulls here would agree that IOM's not for widows and orphans.....many uncertainties cloud the picture right now. Big risk, big reward perhaps?
